he was a wonderful person, dedicated to helping others. >> reporter: 34 year old quinn boyer died at highland hospital around four o=clock in the afternoon. the news of his death was a blow to his co workers at santa clara county ambulance service. brian hubbell says quinn was a great paramedic and will be missed by everyone he worked with. everybody here is still in shock cabn disbelief, given the situation we're all going through. everybody is saddened. they are emotionally taxed right now and completely stressed, given this horrible and tragic incident. brian says all the training in the world could not prepare the crew for the emotions they are going through right now. offwe are trained to deal with these injuries. we are trained to handle this emotionally. the hard part is, when it happens to one of your coworkers and when it happens to one of your brothers in the field there is no way to sepperate yourself emotionally from it. it is tough and it is tough to separate yourself from it. brian says quinn's death impacts more than those who that is what makes it so difficult. it'
